New GW Instek ASR-6000R three-phase AC/DC power supplies

GW Instek has introduced 5 new AC/DC power supplies with three-phase output and up to 24 kVA output power. These models are:

• ASR-6450-09 output power 9 kVA
• ASR-6600-12 output power 12 kVA
• ASR-6450-13.5 output power 13,5 kVA
• ASR-6600-18 output power 18 kVA
• ASR-6600-24 output power 24 kVA

GW-Instek ASR-6000R power supplies can function as AC, DC and AC+DC power supplies. In AC mode, the choice is between single and three phase output. Output connections can be configured as 1P2W, 1P3W or 3P4W. In three-phase output mode, the parameters of each phase can be set separately. The maximum output voltage frequency is 1000 Hz for models up to and including 18 kVA. The ASR-6600-24 model has a maximum output frequency of 550 Hz.

The sources have a complete set of output signal and power measurements including harmonic analysis up to the 100th component. The output waveform can be defined by the user. There are 40 different output waveforms that can be freely modified by the user.

Typical applications for which these sources are designed include testing of chargers, UPS, power supplies or electric drives.

All models are equipped with USB, LAN and RS-232C control interfaces as standard. Optionally, other communication buses such as GPIB, CAN or DeviceNet can be added. A built-in web server allows remote control of the device status, its settings, monitoring and saving of measurements or editing of output waveforms.
